Professional Background

Tom Vivo is a Project Engineer on Stable Rock's Technology Services team, where he manages client projects, implements new services and security tools, and provides technical support across macOS, Windows, and cross-platform environments. He specializes in deploying modern device-management solutions, improving client infrastructure, and delivering smooth digital transformations.

Before joining mac-tech, which was acquired by Stable Rock in 2025, Tom spent several years in both education and enterprise environments, including Franklin Lakes Public Schools, where he handled macOS/iOS support, hardware repair, and large-scale hardware/software deployments. He began his career in video engineering and post-production, supporting broadcast operations at NBC Universal and later working as a cinematographer and editor. His background gives him a strong blend of technical depth, client-facing experience, and creative problem-solving.

Tom's strengths include macOS support and deployment, project execution, and user training, with a particular ability to translate technical issues into clear, practical solutions for clients. His areas of expertise span Apple device deployment and modern device-management (MDM) solutions, project planning and client onboarding, service implementation, workflow optimization, and cross-platform support across macOS and Windows environments.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Film Studies & Production from William Paterson University. He is an Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT), an Apple iOS Technician, and an Apple Certified IT Professional.

Rock-Solid Outside Of Work

Outside of work, Tom can usually be found perfecting espresso shots, diving into story-driven video games, or getting lost in old movies from Hollywood's golden era. He's always on the hunt for the next great coffee bean, a new game to obsess over, or a classic film to add to the rotation.
