Matthew Mitchell is a Director on Stable Rock's AI & Automation Services team, bringing more than two decades of operations and technology leadership in the investment management industry. His career spans hedge funds, a family office, and consulting, in roles ranging from Director of Operations to Chief Technology Officer to unofficial office handyman. Throughout, he has scaled operations, built infrastructure, and created tools that automate and streamline how firms work. A self-described "enemy of the status quo," Matthew lives and breathes automation, efficiency, and process. At Stable Rock, he focuses on putting AI and automation to work across the business.
Matthew holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BA from Lafayette College.

Outside of work, Matthew is a devoted husband, a proud dad to two daughters, and an unapologetic dog nut. Left to his own devices, he'll disappear into the woods with a book and won't be heard from for days.
