Professional Background
Greg Farrington is a Co-Founder and Principal of Stable Rock with more than 26 years of experience spanning management consulting, outsourcing, and investment management infrastructure. He partners with alternative and traditional asset managers to strengthen operational foundations through regulatory compliance, operational due diligence, accounting, valuation, outsourcing, and financial controls.
Greg is widely recognized for advising investment firms, their portfolio and operating companies, and key stakeholders on complex operational and governance challenges, including regulatory interactions, institutional investor due diligence, and third-party service provider assessments. Over the past decade, he has advised on and helped launch more than 800 entities across hedge funds, private equity firms, registered investment advisers, endowments, foundations, trusts, and single- and multi-family offices, as well as their operating and portfolio companies.
Prior to Stable Rock, Greg co-founded Constellation Advisers, LLC, a global investment management consulting firm that grew to more than 120 professionals serving over 500 clients worldwide; under his leadership, the firm delivered sustained annual growth of more than 30% and was successfully acquired by IQ-EQ in 2020. Earlier, he built his foundation at a Big Four firm leading investment management consulting engagements focused on operational assessments, infrastructure design, and controls assurance.
Greg is a frequent speaker at prominent industry events and has appeared on leading podcasts and forums on fund launch advisory, outsourcing strategy, operational due diligence, regulatory infrastructure, and institutional leading practices. He also serves as an independent advisor and board member to several alternative investment products.

Outside of work, Greg values time with family and enjoys traveling, archery, fishing, tennis, skiing, and staying active. He is also passionate about supporting founders through mentorship, board service, and broader industry-building initiatives.
