Faina Auerbach is a Senior Associate on Stable Rock's Accounting & CFO Services team, having over 20 years of experience in both private and public accounting. She has worked across a wide range of industries, with a particular passion for supporting startup companies as they grow and scale. Faina specializes in multistate sales tax filings, financial statement preparation and analysis, and strengthening internal controls to improve back-office efficiency. Highly proficient in Excel, Faina has been a QBO Pro Advisor since 2020 and is known for implementing practical, streamlined accounting processes. Throughout her career, Faina has mentored junior accountants, encouraged collaboration, and led teams toward more effective workflows.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Faina worked at Grassi CPA, FA Accounting Services, AFP Manufacturing, Speech trans Inc., ProInstallers LLC, The IVI Companies, Landauer Metropolitan Inc., IFR/Acorn Group LLC, and other companies in senior accounting roles including Accounting Manager, Controller, Assistant Controller, and Senior Accountant.

Faina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Mercy College.

Faina enjoys traveling and spending time with children—especially preschoolers. With her warm and approachable nature, she has a special ability to make even the shyest child feel comfortable and at ease.
