Dean Vassallo is a Managing Director on Stable Rock's Technology Services team with 20 years of experience in technology strategy, solutions architecture, and engineering. As a trusted advisor, Dean guides clients through transformative change by aligning technology strategy with business objectives, delivering scalable solutions that drive growth and operational excellence.

Dean started his career as a systems administrator at Maran Corporate Risk Associates, where he integrated technology for two merging insurance agencies and led a multi-year digital transformation effort. He later moved to Apple's Fifth Avenue flagship, forming and leading a team that built and managed back-of-house infrastructure. While at Apple, Dean led immersive technician training focused on troubleshooting methodology and customer service.

Before joining Stable Rock, Dean spent over a decade at mac-tech, where he grew from Senior Engineer to Systems Architect and Project Team Leader. Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in expanding mac-tech's technical capabilities and guiding the company's evolution. His leadership and commitment to excellence were recognized when he was made partner in 2020.

With a strong foundation in networking, enterprise storage, and cybersecurity, Dean is especially recognized for his expertise in content security. This specialization has led to extensive work supporting creative agencies, video post-production studios, and podcast production companies.

Dean holds a degree in Information Sciences and Technology from The Pennsylvania State University. He has previously earned industry-recognized certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate and Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

Rock-Solid Outside Of Work

Dean resides in Manhattan's Lower East Side with his wife and their Chihuahua, Ducky. He enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time on the beaches of the Hamptons, where he grew up.
