Professional Background

Bonni Zukof is a Director on Stable Rock’s Tax Services & Strategy team, bringing more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. Throughout her career, she has focused on providing tax compliance and planning strategies to clients in the real estate industry, helping them navigate complex tax and regulatory matters with confidence.

Bonni has extensive experience working with joint venture and operating partnerships, with a particular emphasis on state and local tax filing requirements. She also possesses deep expertise in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), advising clients throughout the full lifecycle of their investments, from formation and structuring through liquidation. Her experience includes guiding clients on REIT qualification requirements and related compliance considerations.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Bonni held a senior role within the Real Estate practice at Forvis Mazars US. In addition to her client service responsibilities, she has been actively involved in workflow enhancement initiatives and the professional development of colleagues throughout her career.

Bonni holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University at Albany. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both New York and New Jersey.

Outside of work, Bonni enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, playing tennis and pickleball, and cooking.
