Professional Background
Berny Weliwatthe is a Support Team Manager on Stable Rock's Technology Services team, with over six years of experience in IT support, systems administration, and operational process improvement. She specializes in managing daily help desk operations, coordinating incident escalations, and optimizing workflows across ConnectWise and cloud-based SaaS environments.
Berny plays a central role in ensuring that both clients and internal teams receive timely, efficient, and well-documented technical support. Throughout her career, Berny has driven key operational improvements at Stable Rock, optimizing ticket triage and dispatch processes, and building KPI and SLA reporting dashboards that strengthened service performance. She has standardized documentation through scalable SOPs, onboarding and offboarding workflows, and improved knowledge organization.
Prior to joining Stable Rock, she supervised an 80-person help desk at the University at Buffalo, where she implemented knowledge management and scheduling systems serving more than 30,000 users.
Berny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University at Buffalo. She is an Apple Certified Support Professional, JAMF Pro Associate, and holds certifications in Google Project Management and ConnectWise RMM.
Rock-Solid Outside Of Work
Outside of work, Berny enjoys singing, gaming, and exploring new restaurants and cafés across New York City. She also loves upgrading and customizing the PC she built herself. A certified gemologist with hands-on experience in gemstone cutting and polishing, Berny enjoys creating pieces inspired by her Sri Lankan heritage and attention to detail.
