Greg Farrington is a Co-Founder and Principal of Stable Rock with more than 26 years of experience spanning management consulting, outsourcing, and investment management infrastructure. He partners with alternative and traditional asset managers to strengthen operational foundations through regulatory compliance, operational due diligence, accounting, valuation, outsourcing, and financial controls. Greg is widely recognized for advising investment firms, their portfolio and operating companies, and key stakeholders on complex operational and governance challenges, including regulatory interactions, institutional investor due diligence, and third-party service provider assessments. Over the past decade, he has advised on and helped launch more than 800 entities across hedge funds, private equity firms, registered investment advisers, endowments, foundations, trusts, and single- and multi-family offices, as well as their operating and portfolio companies.

Kristine McCarthy is a Director on Stable Rock’s Technology Services team. She manages the Support Team, as well as generally supporting business development and operations. A lover of processes, Kristine’s passion in developing procedures, solving problems, and excellent client experience drive her work.

Before joining Stable Rock, Kristine worked for 10 years at mac-tech, beginning as a Junior Engineer in 2015 and elevating into a leadership position after inclinations to want to improve and shape the business. She also worked in a mentor and leadership capacity for Apple Retail, on the merchandising and retail technology teams, where she honed her high level of skills, including customer service, leading teams, working under pressure, organization, and creative problem solving. In a past life, Kristine also worked briefly on film production in Baltimore, MD.

Jonathan Mitchell is the Customer Success Manager on Stable Rock’s Technology Services team, helping customers have the best experience possible with the many services and devices necessary to operate a modern company.

Jonathan has worked in various IT disciplines since 2011, following a 4-year stint at Apple Fifth Avenue where he worked with several other current Stable Rock colleagues. He has spent extensive time in the Mobile Device Management space, obtaining certifications in Jamf as well as projects for Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, Meraki Systems Manager, WorkspaceOne, and Addigy. He currently works directly with clients, assisting with project planning and business goals for the coming years.

Victoria Molinari is the Office Manager for Stable Rock’s Manhattan and Elmsford locations and is often one of the first points of contact for clients. She helps keep both offices running smoothly and supports the team with a wide range of day-to-day needs—from managing office logistics to scanning client files and coordinating outreach for required signatures.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Malcolm served as a Senior Accountant at Cohen & Company and as a Research Assistant at Ohio University. Segupta Nasrin is an Associate on Stable Rock’s Tax Services & Strategy team with approximately 8 months of experience in public accounting. She supports tax compliance and preparation of individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation and trust returns. She also works with QuickBooks and assists with multistate tax related forms and compliance.

At Withum, Segupta worked in public accounting for almost two years. Where she focused on federal tax returns including Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S and 990 along with state filing.

Her area of experience includes individual, partnership and corporation tax preparation, state tax filling and bookkeeping support using QuickBooks.

Boris Onefater is a Co-Founder and Principal of Stable Rock Solutions with more than 35 years of experience in the investment management and professional services industries. He specializes in risk management, operations, technology, valuations, controls assurance, due diligence, business process outsourcing, accounting, finance, and dispute resolution consulting for investment managers and their stakeholders, including fund administrators, prime brokers, and investors. His expertise spans both alternative and traditional asset managers.

Prior to founding Stable Rock, Boris served as Chairman of Global Outsourced Services at a major administrator and was previously the CEO and Managing Partner of Constellation Advisers, LLC, which he co-founded. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner and National Director at a Big Four professional services firm and held senior executive roles including CEO, COO, and CFO of a $19 billion investment management firm. He has also served as Chairman of a proprietary mutual fund family, CFO of a hedge fund complex, and Vice President overseeing mutual fund accounting and administration at a large international investment bank.

Karan Patelis a Tax Director on Stable Rock’s Tax Services & Strategy team with more than 18 years of experience in public accounting, tax planning and consulting. He advises multinational and closely held businesses, as well as high-net-worth individuals, on U.S. and international tax planning and compliance matters, including entity structuring, cross-border transactions, and state and local tax considerations.

Throughout his career, Karan has led the preparation and review of complex federal and multistate tax filings for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, including Forms 1120, 1120-F, 1065, 1040, and 1040-NR, as well as related international information returns. His experience includes advising on foreign tax credit planning, treaty-based positions, and cross-border individual tax compliance, including dual-status filings, streamlined offshore compliance matters, and foreign financial account reporting. Karan has also worked closely with tax attorneys in researching and reviewing technical memoranda to support complex tax positions.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Karan spent over a decade at Brix+Partners LLC, where he served as a Senior International Tax Manager advising clients on sophisticated U.S. and international tax compliance and planning matters. Tarik is a Manager on Stable Rock’s Tax Services & Strategy team with more than 6 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in tax compliance with a focus on C corporations and prior experience with Partnerships, S corporations and individuals.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Tarik held a manager role at Ahad&Co where he was a part of the tax practices. Having started here, he gathered broad accounting experience supporting both individuals and businesses with tax preparation, consultation and audit assistance.

During this time, Tarik has prepared and reviewed federal and state tax returns including forms 1065, 1120-S, spanning various industries with primary focus in retail and real estate and providing support in IRS and state audit correspondence. Kelly is a Director on Stable Rock’s Accounting & CFO Services team with more than 15 years of experience in senior accounting roles across various industries. She has expertise in company transitions, the software industry, revenue recognition standards, family office operations, and investment management. She is especially positioned to support clients with liquidity management as well as with complex financial and organizational change.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Kelly was an Executive Director at MSCI, Inc, following MSCI’s acquisition of The Burgiss Group in October 2023. She was instrumental in transitioning the finance team to MSCI’s public company structure. At The Burgiss Group, a fintech leader in private equity data analytics, Kelly oversaw global accounting and finance operations as Financial Controller, including the consolidation of multiple entities and leading the purchase price accounting and integration during Burgiss’s acquisition of Caissa in 2021.

Prior to her experience in corporate accounting, she spent seven years as the Financial Controller for an ultra-high-net-worth family office, managing their liquidity needs, compliance, and financial reporting for various investments and ownership structures. She partnered with the CFO on complex ventures, including the purchase of an NHL team and launching a hedge fund. Darren Schulman is a Managing Director on Stable Rock’s Accounting & CFO Services team with more than 35 years of experience leading financial institutions, fintech firms, and professional service organizations. He has a proven record of driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and guiding strategic transformation across domestic and international markets.

At Stable Rock, Darren helps lead the Client Accounting Services (CAS) function, drawing on his extensive leadership experience to help companies navigate the complexities of growth and financial management in today’s evolving business environment.

Before joining Stable Rock in 2023, Darren held senior leadership roles at Rosenberg Chesnov CPAs, 6th Avenue Capital, Capify, MRS Associates, and CBC Bank. Tracy Schwartz is a Senior Advisor at Stable Rock with more than 20 years of experience in financial services across investment management, investment banking, and academic leadership. She currently serves as Senior Program Director for Columbia University’s Master of Professional Studies in Wealth Management, a CFP Board–registered program she designed and leads.

Before joining Columbia University, Tracy was a Founding Partner and the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of White Elm Capital, LLC, a global equity long/short hedge fund, where she oversaw operations, compliance, investor relations, marketing, and technology. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Merrill Lynch in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, rising to Managing Director advising corporations and private equity firms on strategic transactions. Tracy began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Health Care Group at Salomon Brothers.

She is an active industry speaker and serves as Secretary and Board Member of Alumni and Friends of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.

Luke Van Every is a Senior Managing Director at Stable Rock. Dean started his career as a systems administrator at Maran Corporate Risk Associates, where he integrated technology for two merging insurance agencies and led a multi-year digital transformation effort. He later moved to Apple’s Fifth Avenue flagship, forming and leading a team that built and managed back-of-house infrastructure. While at Apple, Dean led immersive technician training focused on troubleshooting methodology and customer service.

Before joining mac-tech, which was acquired by Stable Rock in 2025, Tom spent several years in both education and enterprise environments, including Franklin Lakes Public Schools, where he handled macOS/iOS support, hardware repair, and large-scale hardware/software deployments. He began his career in video engineering and post-production, supporting broadcast operations at NBC Universal and later working as a cinematographer and editor. His background gives him a strong blend of technical depth, client-facing experience, and creative problem-solving.

Tom’s strengths include macOS support and deployment, project execution, and user training, with a particular ability to translate technical issues into clear, practical solutions for clients. Outside of work, Berny enjoys singing, gaming, and exploring new restaurants and cafés across New York City. She also loves upgrading and customizing the PC she built herself. A certified gemologist with hands-on experience in gemstone cutting and polishing, Berny enjoys creating pieces inspired by her Sri Lankan heritage and attention to detail.

Ben Wetchler is a Senior Managing Director on Stable Rock’s Tax Services & Strategy team. He joined Stable Rock following Stable Rock’s acquisition of BMW Management, CPA, P.C., based in White Plains, NY, where he previously served as President and has supported clients since 1994. Ben specializes in business management and accounting services for individuals and corporations, with particular experience in the entertainment and financial services industries, and he provides comprehensive tax and financial planning services for high-net-worth individuals and small businesses.

Prior to founding BMW Management, Ben was a Principal at Padell Nadell Fine Weinberger & Co., a business management firm, and earlier began his career as a tax accountant at Coopers & Lybrand inBoston, specializing in individual taxation. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and Massachusetts and holds the Series 27 Financial and Operations Principal license, including experience supporting monthly and quarterly reporting to FINRA.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Northeastern University. He has completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program at the College ofFinancial Planning and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and Massachusetts. Additionally, he holds the Series 27 Financial and Operations Principal license, reflecting his expertise in tax, financial planning, and regulatory compliance for high-net-worth individuals and businesses.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys golf, pickleball, and spending meaningful time with his family.

David Winters is a Manager on Stable Rock’s Accounting & CFO Services team. With more than 15 years of accounting experience, David specializes in delivering controller services to SaaS and start-up companies. David held management roles where he oversaw controller services for remote clients and managed client teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. His industry experience spans SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing, mining, and media.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Accounting from Hope College, providing a foundation for his expertise in controller services, financial management, and operational oversight for SaaS and startup companies.

Rock-Solid Outside of Work

David is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and now resides in the Tampa Bay Area with his wife, two sons, and Siberian Husky. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, watching baseball, and traveling.

Elizabeth Zambrana is an Associate on Stable Rock’s Administration & Operations team with five years of experience supporting accounting firms. In her role, she manages front-desk operations, delivers high-quality customer service, and assists with bookkeeping and administrative support.

Prior to joining Stable Rock, Elizabeth held customer service roles at the Charles D. Grossman CPA firm. Her responsibilities included scheduling appointments, collating and organizing tax returns, contacting clients when returns were ready for pickup, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and performing QuickBooks data entry for select clients and their businesses.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys dancing, cooking, cheering at her child’s sport games, and traveling with her family.
